Every Sunday, 92 stalls in Plaça Reial

Crónica Global (29 August 2026) presents the Plaça Reial Numismatics and Philately Market as a Sunday meeting in Barcelona that, since the late nineteenth century, has brought collectors and dealers under the arcades of one of the best-known squares in the centre.

92 stalls, coins and stamps

There are now 92 licensed pitches: 60 for coins and 32 for philately. The note says the tables show Iberian denarii, Roman pieces, silver reales of the Hispanic monarchy, and pesetas; the albums hold international issues, commemorative series, souvenir sheets, and postmarks on old covers. Banknotes, share certificates, postcards, and cava labels also appear.

How to get there

The market sets up every Sunday from 10:00 to 14:30, with free admission. The setting — the Fountain of the Three Graces and the six-armed lamp-posts by a young Antoni Gaudí — frames the porticoed square.
