El Occidental (opens in a new tab) headlined “Ofrecen monedas y billetes gratuitos para niños en convención numismática” (“They offer free coins and notes for children at a numismatic convention”). The body of the report was not in view. This note uses that headline and the public listing of the meeting. It is not a Notofilia fair.

Hotel Baruk, 29 to 31 October

The listing at Monedas Antiguas (opens in a new tab) announces the 38th Numismatic Convention of Guadalajara for 29, 30, and 31 October 2026, at the Hotel Baruk, Calzada Lázaro Cárdenas 3447, Colonia Chapalita, postal code 44500. Free admission. Hours from 10:00 to 18:00. Those dates have passed.

What the headline says

The Occidental headline states that coins and notes were offered free to children at that convention. Without the body of the story it is not on record who handed them out, how many, or of what kind. The convention listing does not say it either: it gives only the venue, the dates, free admission, and the hours.
