This page is the index of the Virtual Collection: a museum of paper and metal, not a shop. Nothing is for sale. Enter through a country, a substrate, or a theme — Colombia, the Philippines, China, the United States, Puerto Rico, the Netherlands, world polymer, the lazarettos — and open the records with serials, Pick numbers, and face and back photographs. There is no cart and no price list: you get context, sources, and the piece as it sits in the collection.
Spanish is the default language of the catalogue; every record has an English pair under /en/. Each banknote is a unique physical object and the serial number is its identity: this case does not list two holdings with the same serial. If an old version-1 address no longer exists, we map it to the matching record or to this index — never blindly to the homepage. Colombian notes cite BanRep tables and González White when those sources apply; other countries carry the catalogue references printed on the piece or published by the issuer.
